What types of scenes and evidence do you photograph?

We photograph a wide range of scenes and evidence, including crime scenes, accident sites, fire investigations, latent fingerprints, footwear impressions, tool marks, injuries on victims/survivors, and autopsy findings.

Are digital photographs admissible in court, or is film required?

High-quality digital photographs are fully admissible as evidence, provided proper procedures and chain-of-custody protocols are followed. We ensure image integrity through strict documentation and by capturing images in lossless formats like TIFF or RAW.

How are the photographs stored and secured?

Photographs and associated documentation are stored securely in password-protected digital files and/or locked physical cabinets with a documented chain of custody to prevent tampering or improper disclosure.

What information is included with each photograph?

Each photograph is associated with a detailed log that includes the date and time, specific location, camera settings, description of the subject matter, and the photographers identity.
